Mrs. Connelly passed away peacefully in Cambridge on February 24, 2026, following a period of declining health. She was 82. Born to the late Ralph and Marion (White) Craig, Linda lived a life defined by devotion to her family, generosity toward others, and pride in the home and community she nurtured so lovingly.
Linda had a true gift for gardening. She took great pride in maintaining a beautiful yard and was a longtime member of the Belmont Community Garden, where she tended her plots for many years. She also loved to cook and could prepare a wonderful meal at a moment’s notice. Handy around the house and remarkably resourceful, she approached life with energy and capability. An excellent Scrabble player, she rarely lost a game and always enjoyed sharing the results with family and friends.
Above all else, Linda cherished her family. She adored her grandchildren and found immense joy in spending time with them—telling stories, preparing their favorite meals, and celebrating their accomplishments. Her smile was brightest when surrounded by those she loved. Selfless and giving, she devoted her life to caring for her family and was deeply proud of each and every one of them.
She was the beloved mother of James J. Moloy and his wife Kathleen of Westwood, Dr. Christine Moloy of Maynard, Richard Connelly and his wife Michelle of Stoneham, and Liam Connelly and his wife Kellie of Watertown, and the late Jack and Steve Moloy. She was the dear sister of Robert Craig of Chelmsford. Linda was the loving grandmother of Julie Moloy Maguire and her husband Ryan, Danny Moloy, Brendan Moloy, Skyler Moloy-Pilgrim, Liam Connelly, Tim Connelly, Madison Connelly, and Sean Connelly.
